Today, I'd like to introduce Enoshima Beach. Enoshima is a coastal area close to the city, about an hour and a half away from Shinjuku on the Odakyu Line. Enoshima Island itself is a well-known tourist destination. The beach has a peaceful atmosphere, with many people enjoying walks with their dogs.
During this season, it gets very hot, and weekends can be crowded, so I recommend visiting in the early morning. The beach is relatively empty until around 10 AM, and the temperature is cooler compared to the afternoon. Additionally, you can take the Enoden, a streetcar, to Kamakura.
Besides Enoshima, there are many other beaches and swimming areas in the vicinity. Why not explore and find your favorite beach to enjoy with your dog?
