Today, I'd like to introduce Mt. Takao. Although it's only about an hour from the city center, Mt. Takao is a recommended spot with abundant nature. There's a cable car on Mt. Takao that you can ride with your dog. You can hike up and take the cable car on the way back.
At the summit, there's a beer garden open during the summer, where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
From the city center, take the Keio Line and get off at the terminus, Takaosanguchi Station, where the hiking trail begins immediately.
The trail is well-maintained, making it perfect for beginners. There are also water fountains, ensuring a comfortable hike for your dog.
